Drought/Famine
During the revolution, the poorer of the population were in quite the precarious position. The slightest hint of a drought could cause a famine that would be nearly unbearable for these people. Thus, when droughts did hit this area, the people suffered a great deal. Farmers, and other lower class citizens were unable to continue their work. Plants would dry out, streams would run dry. Very little water was allotted to the poorer population in France as the rich were the ones who truly "needed" it. Since their was no water for crops, famines begun. Food was unable to grow and therefore, people were unable to eat.
